 Construction Update July 17
The Gleason Lake Drive and Vicksburg Lane intersection remains closed to traffic. The posted detour includes County Road 6, Interstate 494, and Highway 12. During construction, access will be maintained for the local adjacent neighborhoods on Townes Road and Black Oaks Lane via Gleason Lake Road to the south, but access may change as construction progresses.
Phase 2 - Gleason Lake Drive between Vicksburg Lane and Ranchview Lane
The contractor has finished utility work on Gleason Lake Drive between Vicksburg Lane and Ranchview Lane. Gravel work is expected to begin this week, and curb installation is scheduled for the week of July 24.
Phase 1B - Gleason Lake Drive between Ranchview Lane and Niagara Lane
The contactor has installed the base layer of pavement (lower pavement section). Trail construction and restoration of driveways in this phase are planned for this week.
Phase 1A - Niagara Lane
The contractor plans to install curb and gutter on Niagara Lane this week. Please avoid walking or driving on the concrete curb and gutter while it is hardening.
Phase 3 - Gleason Lake Drive between Niagara Lane and Carlson Parkway
The contractor is planning to remove trees within the project right-of-way July 19-21.
Phase 3A - Gleason Lake Drive between Niagara Lane and Juneau Lane
The contractor is planning to remove the pavement and begin utility work in the section the week of July 24.
