 Construction Update - July 7
Fernbrook Lane: Fernbrook Lane, between Highway 55 and 25th Avenue, is scheduled to open on Monday, July 10.
On Wednesday, July 12, CenterPoint Energy's contractor will close Fernbrook Lane one block north of County Road 6, for gas main repairs. A detour route map is available on the project webpage under Addtional Information.
The city’s contractor will continue to work on Fernbrook Lane between 23rd Avenue and 25th Avenue during Centerpoint’s road closure. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with temporary lane closures. Stay tuned for a future updates on the next road closure, occurring during the week of July 17th, after Centerpoint’s closure has re-opened.
Cornerstone Commons area: It is anticipated city crews will mill and overlay this area in mid to late July.
Cimmarron East neighborhood: Roadway work in the Cimarron East neighborhood and Fernbrook Lane south of 23rd Avenue will occur later in the summer. Notification of the anticipated start date will be sent closer to that time.
