 Construction Update June 30
The contractor has removed the pavement at the Gleason Lake Drive and Vicksburg Lane intersection. Installation of utilities in this area and on Gleason Lake Drive east of Vicksburg Lane is underway and scheduled to go through next week.
The Gleason Lake Drive and Vicksburg Lane intersection is closed to traffic. The posted detour includes County Road 6, Interstate 494, and Highway 12. During construction access will be maintained for the local adjacent neighborhoods on Townes Road and Black Oaks Lane via Gleason Lake Road to the south, but access may change as construction progresses.
The contractor has tentatively schedule the installation of the base layer of pavement on Gleason Lake Drive from Ranchview Lane to Niagara Lane for the later part of next week. Trail construction and restoration of driveways is planned for the following week after the initial layer of roadway pavement is installed.
