 Construction Update June 16
The contractor is currently excavating Gleason Lake Drive between Ranchview Lane and Niagara Lane. Roadway excavation on Niagara Lane is scheduled to start next week. Roadway excavation in Phase 1 is anticipated to be completed by the end of next week. Concrete curb and gutter is anticipated for this area late next week or the following week. Next week the contractor intends to start installation of water main in Phase 2A on Gleason Lake Drive between Ranchview Lane and Vicksburg Lane.
The contractor anticipates starting construction at the Gleason Lake Drive and Vicksburg Lane intersection on Monday, June 26th. This work will require that the intersection be fully closed to traffic. Advance warning signs will be posted next week and a detour will be posted once the intersection is closed. During construction, access will be maintained for the local adjacent neighborhoods on Townes Road and Black Oaks Lane via Gleason Lake Road to the south, but access may change as construction progresses.
