Construction Update - June 16

The contractor for the Chankahda Trail Reconstruction Project has completed paving at the Vicksburg Lane intersection. Pavement markings are being installed and traffic signal modifications are underway. The intersection is tentatively scheduled to be reopened to traffic in the northbound, southbound, and eastbound directions by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 20th. The west leg of the intersection will remain closed as construction on Chankahda Trail continues. The contractor is working to install storm sewer between Vicksburg Lane and Archer Lane with completion anticipated by the end of next week. Roadway excavation will begin the following week.
