 Construction Update
The first layer of asphalt has been paved in Phase 1B (34th Avenue from the Plymouth Community Center to Plymouth City Hall.) Next week the contractor will finish the trail work and pave the final layer of asphalt. Centerline striping on 34th Avenue will occur later next week or the following week.
On Wednesday (6/21) the contractor will begin work in Phase 2A (the 34th Avenue/35th Avenue loop west of Plymouth Blvd) with spot pavement removals. Later next week, the contractor will work on water valve repairs in Phase 2A.
The roadway will remain open to traffic during paving in Phase 1B and utility work in Phase 2A, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane with flaggers.
Access to the Plymouth Community Center, businesses, and residences will be maintained throughout construction, but traffic will be encouraged to use alternate routes around the construction zone when feasible
