 Construction Update - June 2
Fernbrook Lane is now closed from Highway 55 to just north of 25th Avenue while crews perform utility and roadway repairs and begin resurfacing and trail construction. The closure is anticipated to remain in place until early July, but the contractor plans to work Saturdays to try to minimize the closure time. Detours are posted and all businesses in the area have access. A Traffic Layout with detour information can be found on the project webpage, under Additional Information.
Roadway work on Cimarron East and Fernbrook Lane south of 25th Avenue will occur later in the summer. Notification of the anticipated start date will be sent closer to that time.
The Cornerstone Area is nearing the end of underground utility repairs. The contractor will clean the site and return mid-June to resume spot concrete repairs. To minimize disruption, concrete curb and gutter to be repaired will be removed right before it is replaced. Mill and overlay of the pavement are anticipated for July.
