 Phase 1B Construction Update
Construction for Phase 1B (34th Avenue, from the Plymouth Community Center to Plymouth City Hall) has begun and the contractor has finished pavement removals and utility work. Next week the contractor will continue to grade the street and the sidewalk leading up to the Plymouth Community Center, and the concrete crew will start pouring curb and sidewalk on 34th Avenue leading up to the Plymouth Community Center.
The roadway will remain open to traffic during the grading and concrete work, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane with flaggers. Access to the Plymouth Community Center, businesses, and residences will be maintained throughout construction. Traffic is encouraged to access 34th Avenue from the east, off Fernbrook Lane.
