 Construction Update - May 26
The contractor continues to work in Cornerstone Area performing underground utility repairs. Utility repairs and spot curb and gutter replacement will continue into early July. Access will be maintained for local traffic, but motorists may experience delays from construction activity. Please proceed with caution through the area.
On June 1, the contractor will close Fernbrook Lane from Highway 55 to just north of 25th Avenue. The contractor anticipates the roadway to be closed until July 1 to facilitate the work to be completed. Detours will be posted, and alternative routes to affected properties will be provided.
Access to properties will remain from 23rd and 27th Avenues from Niagara Lane; Fernbrook Lane south of 25th Avenue; or 25th Avenue / Cheshire Lane frontage road. Businesses without these accesses will be provided dedicated routes through the construction and coordinated with directly.
Private utility crews have continue working in the area ahead of the street project.
