 Phase 1A Construction Update
Construction for Phase 1A (34th Avenue, from the Plymouth Community Center to Fernbrook Lane) continued this week with completion of curb replacements and spot water valve repairs. Early next week, the contractor is scheduled to pave the asphalt trail and begin turf restoration. On Wednesday, the street is scheduled to be milled down two inches. Paving will begin the following day and be completed on Friday, May 26th.
The roadway will remain open to traffic during the milling and paving process, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane with flaggers. Access to the Plymouth Community Center, businesses, and residences will be maintained throughout construction. Please proceed through the area with caution.
The entrances that were closed this week at Park Place Apartments for concrete work will re-open Tuesday, May 23rd.
Construction for Phase 1B (34th Avenue, from the Plymouth Community Center to Plymouth City Hall) is anticipated to begin the week of May 30th.
