 Construction Underway on Gleason Lake Drive Improvements Project
The contractor has started construction in Phases 1A and 1B which includes Niagara Lane, Kingsview Lane, and Gleason Lake Drive from Niagara Lane to Ranchview Lane. The contractor is working on tree removals as well as installation of storm sewer and water main improvements and removal of portions of curb and gutter on Kingsview Lane.
Next week the contractor plans to remove the pavement and install the temporary water main system that will provide water service while the water main is being replaced, which is scheduled to start the following week. Prior to turning on the temporary water system the contractor will need to enter homes to shut off the water valve supplying each home.
Construction of the project will require that Gleason Lake Drive and other project roadways be closed to thru traffic. Access will be maintained for local residents. The contractor anticipates that the roadway closure will start on Monday, May 8. A signed detour route will be posted.
