 Phase 1A Construction Update
Construction for Phase 1A (34th Avenue from the Plymouth Community Center to Fernbrook Lane) started this week with curb and sidewalk removals. Next week the contractor will continue work to complete the removals. There will also be a utility crew onsite fixing gate valves in the street. Flaggers will be present to keep traffic moving in both directions - please use caution when driving through the area.
Towards the end of the week the concrete crew will be pouring curb and driveway entrances to the buildings. Some entrances at Park Place Apartments will be closed and will not re-open until several days after the new concrete has been poured. During that time, another driveway entrance will be accessible for each apartment building.
The roadway will remain open to traffic, but delays should be anticipated as the road may be reduced to one lane during various construction activities. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained throughout construction.
