 2021 Street Reconstruction Project Construction Update
The contractor is continuing to excavate the roadway and install sand and gravel in Phase A (Garland Lane, Fountain Lane, 17th Avenue). Once completed curb and gutter will be installed throughout Phase A.
In Phase B (Weston Lane) the contractor will fill the void behind the curb with dirt and bring dirt up to grade next week. Utilities will also be tested next week and paving is set to follow.
In Phase C (Black Oaks Lane, Archer Lane, Zanzibar Lane, 13th Avenue, 14th Avenue) the contractor will finish installing the watermain today. Once watermain installation is completed on Black Oaks Lane, 13th Avenue and Archer Lane, the contractor will start installing storm sewer and connecting homes to the new watermain. Excavation of the roadway and installation of sand and gravel are slated to begin on 14th Avenue once the crews are done in Phase A.
