Mill and Overlay of West Medicine Lake Drive to Begin
The contractor for the mill and overlay project on West Medicine Lake Drive has indicated that the work is tentatively set to begin on Monday, July 13th. Work includes removing a portion of the road surface and paving a new layer of asphalt pavement on the roadway. To facilitate the work adjacent to West Medicine Lake Park West Medicine Lake Boulevard will be closed between 18th Avenue and 23rd Avenue starting on July 13th for a three week period. A detour route utilizing Northwest Boulevard and State Highway 55 will be posted.
The work on the remaining sections of West Medicine Lake Drive will be constructed under traffic with flaggers present. Motorists may experience delays and are urged to exercise caution when driving through the construction area. When driving through the work area please follow all construction signage and the direction of flaggers. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

The City of Plymouth is following the recommended guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health – which encourage social distancing (maintaining a 6-foot distance from others) and reducing the frequency of gatherings.
