Annual Conference Special Edition, February 23, 2021
The MPCA Wastewater and Collections Conference will take place March 16 and 17, 2021, and will be delivered as a combined virtual event. Our pivot this year to an online platform will provide you with opportunities for learning and networking with your peers, MPCA staff, and exhibitors.
The conference will be hosted in a platform called Pheedloop and will feature a variety of sessions on topics including:
- collection systems
- wastewater operations
- new technologies and treatment systems
- regulations and compliance
- infrastructure, maintenance, and asset management
- safety and security, and much more.
The conference will begin with a brief orientation to the conference platform. Everyone will gather for a plenary session highlighting the MPCA’s goals to integrate point source and nonpoint source protection strategies through effective partnerships and collaboration. Next, attendees will be able to choose a learning path specific to their individual preferences, with dozens of presentations from industry leaders working hard to build and sustain “One Minnesota.”
Networking, fun, and games
As a participant, you will be able to obtain point codes using the “gamification" feature of the Pheedloop platform. Point codes will be tracked and recorded as you engage in the conference and explore everything there is to offer. We hope this feature will allow you to select from prizes provided by the exhibitors. The virtual conference will also feature a tradeshow showcasing a wide variety of products and services. The tradeshow will take place each day between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. During this time you can visit exhibitors, vendors, and industry professionals, and learn about all they have to offer.
Don’t miss the MPCA’s first ever virtual conference. Enroll today by completing your registration form https://www.pca.state.mn.us/sites/default/files/p-tr2-72.pdf.
