Gain professional experience, improve the environment, and serve your community! 44 Minnesota GreenCorps AmeriCorps positions are available at local governments, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions throughout MN. Members serve 40 hours a week for 11 months, from September 2019 through August 2020. 

Minnesota GreenCorps members serve on projects in one of the four focus areas:

• Air Pollutant Reduction (energy conservation, green transportation)
• Community Readiness & Outreach (public engagement, education, volunteer mobilization)  
• Green Infrastructure Improvements (stormwater management, urban forestry)
• Waste Reduction, Recycling, & Organics Management (food waste prevention, recycling, composting)

Members earn a living stipend of $1428 per month and an education award of up to $6095 after successful completion of the AmeriCorps term. Members receive training, develop green job skills, gain professional experience, and network with environmental professionals.
