The Minnesota Electronics Recycling Act "turned four" in May, and
this state product stewardship program continues to mature. This panel of
speakers will offer perspectives on experiences with the program and offer
suggestions for potential improvements. The event will feature presentations
and opportunity for discussion.

Jeff Travis is a program manager with Washington
County Public Health and Environment. Their Environmental Center in
Woodbury is a registered e-waste collection site.

Todd Schachtman is president of global business
development at Materials Processing Corporation (Mendota Heights, Minn.).
MPC is a registered collector and e-waste recycler.

Jason Linnell works for the National Center for
Electronics Recycling, a non-profit based in West Virginia, which manages
the Electronics Recycling Coordinating Clearinghouse. ERCC provides a
forum for information exchange among state agencies implementing
electronics recycling laws and all impacted stakeholders.
