Air quality advisory cancelled for the Twin Cities metro

The MPCA is cancelling the Air Quality advisory for Tuesday, as air quality has improved across the Twin Cities metro. Overnight snowfall has reduced fine particle levels, allowing the AQI to fall into the low yellow (moderate) category. While higher AQI values remain possible over central Minnesota this morning, improving air quality is expected statewide this afternoon.
