Owámni Falling Water Festival |
 The 2025 Owámni Falling Water Festival is this Saturday, October 18, 11 am-4 pm.
In addition to Indigenous-owned food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, and nonprofit partner booths, visitors will find opportunities to participate in traditional cultural activities, including:
1. Learn about the history of traditional lacrosse (Baaga’adowewin) and how to play with Twin Cities Native Lacrosse.
2. Watch performances from a variety of dancers, drummers and singers on both sides of the river, including Twin Cities Intertribal Dancers, Bear Runner and Iron Enemy.
3. Participate in (or learn how to play) traditional games such as plum stone games (kaŋsú kutepi).

The event is generously funded by a grant from the Saint Anthony Falls Heritage Board.

Getting There
There is no dedicated parking facility for event attendees, so please consider biking, walking or using transit if you are able.
Biking
Bike parking will be available on both sides of the river.

Mill Ruins Park:

Meter parking will be available on the neighboring streets including S 2nd Street, Portland Ave, S 5th Ave, and S 1st Ave.

Parking ramps in the area include the Riverfront Municipal Parking Ramp and Mill Quarter Parking Ramp

The Mill Ruins parking lot, and the Saint Anthony Falls Visitor Center lot will both be closed during the event.
Father Hennepin Park:

Meter Parking will be available on SE Main St (west of SE 3rd St), 2nd St SE, and 3rd Ave SE.

The nearest parking ramp is located at 201 2nd St SE at the St. Anthony Ramp
 The Owamni Falling Water Festival is on both sides of the Mississippi River by the Stone Arch Bridge, near both Mill Ruins Park and Father Hennepin Bluff Park.
