Closures due to forecasted severe weather
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board will close all public buildings at 2 pm today, Monday, April 28 due to the high risk of severe weather forecasted by the National Weather Service. All programs and activities are also cancelled.
Rec Plus
Families enrolled in the Park Board’s Rec Plus Child Care program, which provides before and after school care for youth ages 6-12 when school is in session, will need to notify their child's school to not send their child to Rec Plus. Parents will need to pick up their child from their school at dismissal time.
