The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is pleased to announce a new project to improve Columbia Parkway Regional Trail!
Columbia Parkway Regional Trail travels along the north side of Columbia Park for nearly a mile between St. Anthony Parkway and Central Avenue NE. Work will include repaving and repairing the trail surface to extend the life of the trail, and upgrading wayfinding, accessibility, landscaping, and safety.
Anyone interested in the project can check out initial plans and chat with project staff at an upcoming open house event on Tuesday, April 15, 6-7:30 pm at Lucky Shots Pickleball Club, 3300 5th St. NE.
Design work and construction bidding is planned in 2025, with construction expected in 2026.
