Explore with a Naturalist this Fall

Campfire & Curiosity

Follow your natural curiosity as we explore together!

Explore with a Naturalist to search for signs of animal activity, observe plant life, and notice nature in the park this fall season. After adventuring, we will warm up around a campfire and enjoy a treat! All ages, registration is required.

Join us for the final forest bathing session this fall!

Experience thoughtful invitations to help you slow down and explore the world around you, followed by opportunities to share our experiences with one another.
Ages 16 and up, registration is required.

Try simple woodworking skills while building
a project to take home!

Build a bird feeder to take home  using ready to assemble kits under the guidance of Elpis Enterprises. Then discover more about bird behaviors with a Neighborhood Naturalist. For ages 5 to adult, limited pre-registration available.

Neighborhood Naturalist Program

outdoor, and environmental education experiences throughout parks city-wide.
Park Naturalists aim to connect people in Minneapolis with nearby nature
using curiosity, joy, and community to empower learning.
