Pools & Beaches Update
The school year ends June 14 and the main swim season in Minneapolis parks begins June 15. What does this mean for you?
- Water parks and Webber Natural Swimming Pool open
- Additional wading pool locations open
- Daily lifeguard hours at beaches
- Summer hours at Phillips Aquatics Center

Opening Saturday, June 15
Hours: 1pm to 7pm, Tuesdays through Sundays (closed Mondays) through Sunday, August 18 (post-season hours through Monday, September 2/Labor Day)
Hours: 1pm to 7pm daily through Sunday, August 18 (post-season hours through Monday, September 2/Labor Day)
NOTE: The plunge pool at North Commons Water Park (and its water slide) will remain closed until repairs to a service line can be completed. We'll send a notice when these facilities open.
These pools are at "shared sites" with Minneapolis Public Schools buildings.
Hours: 10am to 9pm daily

No lifeguards: please keep safety in mind
- Final day of the season is Monday, September 2 (Labor Day holiday)

Saturday, June 15: Daily lifeguard hours begin at two beaches
Lifeguard Hours: 1pm to 7pm daily through Sunday August 18 (post-season hours in effect August 19 - September 2)
General beach hours: 6am to 10pm daily at all 12 locations:
