Weigh in on potential design choices for a new Mississippi River trail bridge and new park spaces at either end of the bridge by April 8
There's one week left to take an online survey on design choices for a potential new trail bridge linking North and Northeast Minneapolis. The design team is looking for feedback on the bridge's appearance and concepts for a new 1.9-acre park site along Marshall Street NE. Use the link below to take an online survey:
Please share the survey with anyone or any organization or network that might be interested in this project. The survey closes April 8, 2024.
The design team will use feedback from the survey to create a preferred bridge design and concept for the park spaces over the next few months. The design concept will be shared with everyone later in 2024.
Previous Work
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board hosted two open houses and a site tour at the end of January, then an another open house in March. A set of concepts for the bridge crossing and the park spaces on each side of the river were developed using feedback received during the project’s early visioning work and the open houses and site tour.
