Open House on new Mississippi River recreational trail bridge is this Thursday, March 21
Head to Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Headquarters on Thursday, 6-8 pm for the first look at potential bridge concepts
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is planning for a potential new bridge and gathering spaces for people walking, running, biking or rolling over the Mississippi River between North and Northeast Minneapolis.
The MPRB wants to hear from the communities the bridge will connect! An open house is planned this Thursday, March 21, 6-8 pm at MPRB Headquarters, located at 2117 West River Road, just a few blocks south of the project site in North Minneapolis. This will be the first chance to view initial concepts for the new bridge and park spaces on each side of the river and give feedback to project staff.
