This spring, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is gathering feedback from community members on an improvements project underway at Folwell Park.
The project includes construction of an all-wheel facility for bikes, scooters, skateboards and in-line skates, along with other improvements. It's the latest in in a range of recent projects that brought new and updated features to the park and recreation center - see below.
We need to hear your thoughts, ideas and preferences on priorities for the project:

Thanks to funding from the 20-Year Neighborhood Park Plan (see below), MPRB has made a number of other improvements at Folwell in the past several years, including:
- New playground
- Tennis courts renovated
- New lighting for the west athletic field
- Recreation center updates and replacements: kitchens, craft rooms, restrooms, roof
- Accessibility improvements for the parking lot, sidewalk leading to the recreation center, and center entry
- New path connecting the courts and playground
Thanks for your support while we work to improve Minneapolis parks and recreation centers.

Every neighborhood deserves a great park.
Folwell Park's improvements projects include funding from NPP20, a historic agreement between the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) and the City of Minneapolis. NPP20 helps address racial and economic equity across 160 neighborhood parks and provides more than $11 million annually to maintain, repair and replace facilities.
