4th of July |
 Series of neighborhood celebrations planned this year across the city instead of Red, White and Boom event and fireworks
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is hosting a series of parties to celebrate the 4th of July this year!
Due to construction at Father Hennepin Bluff Park and staff shortages, the traditional Red, White and Boom celebration, including fireworks over the Mississippi River, will not take place this year.
Instead, everyone is invited to enjoy one or more of the smaller, family-friendly July 4 events planned at parks across the city this year. Read on for details.
