Minneapolis spring adult sports registration is open!

Adult kickball at Lake Nokomis Park

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) opened spring adult sports registration TODAY, Tuesday, Feb. 15! Get a squad together and sign up for a league or lesson to stay active and healthy this spring.

This year we've offering seven different sports for a variety of skill levels. Follow the links below to browse upcoming adult sports opportunities and register your team.

Kickball

When: Sunday-Thursday, April-July

Where: Bossen, Keewaydin, Logan, Marshall Terrace, Northeast, Painter, Pearl

Leagues: All leagues Co-ed

Season: 12 games scheduled, 10 games guaranteed (not counting forfeits)

Cost: $445

Grass Volleyball

When: Mondays and Wednesdays, June-July

Where: Van Cleve Park

Leagues: All leagues are Open, all genders welcome. 4-person and 6-person leagues available in A, B, and C skill levels.

Season: 6 self-officiated games

Cost: $150 four-person; $175 six-person

Sand Volleyball - Spring

When: Sunday-Friday, April-June

Where: Wirth Lake Beach

Leagues: Co-Ed, Open and Women's. 4-person and 6-person leagues available in A, B, and C skill levels.

Season: 8 weeks scheduled, plus post-season single-elimination tournament

Cost: $310 four-person; $385 six-person

Sand Volleyball - Summer

When: Sunday-Friday, July-September

Where: Wirth Lake Beach

Leagues: Co-Ed, Open and Women's (four-person and six-person leagues available)

Season: 8 weeks scheduled, plus post-season single-elimination tournament

Cost: $310 4-person; $385 6-person

Indoor Broomball

When: Sundays, April 3-June 5

Where: Parade Ice Garden

Leagues: Co-Ed 8-player, Men's 6-player

Season: 6-week regular season, 2-week playoffs

Cost: $850


Adult coed softball at Lake Nokomis Park

Softball

Co-ed Single Game

When: Mondays-Thursdays, April-July

Where: Bossen, Marshall Terrace, Neiman, Nokomis, Northeast

Seasons: 12 weeks scheduled; an 8-week Monday league available at Northeast

Cost: $540 12-week; $355 8-week

Co-ed Doubleheaders

When: Sundays, April-July

Where: Bossen or Northeast

Seasons: Sundays, 12-week at Northeast, 6-week at Bossen

Cost: $1,050 12-week; $540 6-week

Men's Single Game

When: Tuesdays-Thursdays, April-July

Where: Bossen, Marshall Terrace, Nokomis, Northeast,

Seasons: 12 weeks scheduled, Over 40 wood bat league available Thursdays at Marshall Terrace

Cost: $540

Men's Doubleheaders

When: Sundays-Thursdays, April-July

Where: Bossen or Northeast

Seasons: 12 weeks or 6 weeks

Cost: $1,050 12-week; $540 6-week


Outdoor soccer at East Phillips Park

Outdoor Soccer - Spring

When: May

Where: Neiman Sports Complex

Leagues: Sunday afternoons, Men's and Co-ed leagues are 11-on-11, Women's and Open are 6-on-6.

Season: 4 weeks

Cost: $320 6-on-6 leagues, $475 11-on-11

Outdoor Soccer - Summer

When: June-September

Where: Elliot, Neiman, Parade

Leagues: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; Co-Ed, Men's, Open and Women's leagues available.

Season: 9 weeks including tournament games (7 games total guaranteed, does not include forfeits)

Cost: $720 6-on-6 leagues, $1,075 11-on-11

Tennis Lessons

When: Saturday-Thursday, June-August

Where: Armatage, Kenny, Kenwood, Lake Hiawatha, Logan, Lynnhurst, Minnehaha & Morgan Courts, MLK, Powderhorn, Waite, Waveland Clay Courts, 

Leagues: Beginner (comes with free racket), Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, Drill and Play

Seasons: 9 weeks of one-hour lessons; Drill and Play is 90 minutes.

Cost: $135

Pickleball

When: Monday-Thursday, May-June

Where: Bohanon, Fuller, Kenny, Lyndale Farmstead 

Leagues: Beginner or Intermediate

Season: 8 weeks

Cost: $60

Register as a Free Agent

Are you an individual looking to get placed on a team? Register as a Free Agent. Your information will be passed along to teams needing players. If enough individuals register, an attempt will be made to organize a team from the Free Agent list.

By registering as a free agent you are not guaranteed to be placed on a team. This is a non-refundable $10 fee. If you are asked to join a team you may be subject to paying a portion of the team entry fee (determined by the team). 

If you want to be included on more than one free agent list, you must register for each sport individually.
