Update: Minneapolis regional trails repair project

8.2 miles of bike trails at 8 locations are getting treated this fall for a smoother, more durable surface

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is in the process of seal coating and crack sealing on bike trails in regional parks throughout Minneapolis.

In all, 8.2 miles of trails will be resurfaced at eight locations (list and maps below).

The project is part of MPRB’s ongoing work to improve existing park and trail facilities and extend their life span.

At most locations, repairs take two to four days, barring delays.

Work includes filling cracks and adding a layer of seal coating for a smoother and more durable trail surface.
