Winter Fun on the Run
schedule changes begin
Monday, February 8!

MPRB staff bring FREE outdoor activities to neighborhood parks,
3:30 to 5:30 pm

more winter fun at parks throughout Minneapolis. 
Sanitizing and social distancing included!


Starting Monday February 8, the Winter Fun on the Run program shifts to new after-school hours: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.  

 

Fun on the Run is a FREE Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board program, with staff bringing outdoor recreation and activities to seven neighborhood parks throughout the city on a rotating schedule. 

All youth and teens are welcome to come by between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm for fun and games at a safe – and social!  distance. MPRB staff sanitize equipment after each use and help ensure participants follow social distancing guidelines.

Good to Know

  • Make sure to dress in warm clothes, with hats and gloves and boots.

  • Supervision is not provided before or after the designated program times.

  • Winter Fun on the Run will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather, based on the MPRB Inclement Weather Policy: When temperature reaches -10 degrees or windchill reaches -20 degrees.

  • Coronavirus prevention: All activities will be done with social distancing and continuous sanitization of equipment. Participants in MPRB programs and activities agree to maintain social distance (6 feet) at all times and adhere to the current Minnesota state face covering mandate. (Face covering exceptions may apply to certain MPRB activities.) Failure to comply will result in removal from the program.
