West River Parkway will be closed between 13th Avenue S and 4th Street S from 7 am to 6 pm tomorrow, Thursday, March 5, 2020. The closure is necessary for the City of Minneapolis to bring in a crane for ongoing repairs to Bridge #9.

West River Parkway was already closed down to one lane between Bohemian Flats Park and the 10th Avenue Bridge, Monday-Friday, 7 am-6 pm, with construction flaggers guiding traffic around the closure. The one-lane closure will resume on Friday, March 6 and continue through the end of March.
Please follow the posted detours and stay away from areas where work is being performed. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board appreciates the public's patience during the closure.
