About the Victory Park improvements project

Based on the approved 2018 master plan for Victory Park, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is implementing the design and construction of a new splash pad to replace the park's former wading pool. Construction is anticipated for summer 2020. For more information, visit the project page, or subscribe to receive project updates.

Every neighborhood deserves a great park.

This project includes major funding from NPP20, a historic agreement between the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) and the City of Minneapolis. NPP20 helps address racial and economic equity across 160 neighborhood parks and provides $11 million annually to maintain, repair and replace facilities.
