Webber Natural Swimming Pool is open

Webber Natural Swimming Pool

The larger Lower Pool, pictured in the foreground, has reopened; the smaller Upper Pool, which is past the bridge next to the tree, will remain closed for at least one more day

The Webber Natural Swimming Pool (NSP) reopens today, Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Pool hours are 1-7 pm and admission is free.

The larger, deeper, Lower Pool is open, while the smaller, shallow Upper Pool will remain closed for at least one more day, pending the results of water quality tests taken this afternoon. Water quality samples will be taken again tomorrow, per pool protocols.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board maintains a stringent testing standard to ensure the pool is safe for swimming. Webber NSP is tested for three types of bacteria up to three times per week. The proactive approach has resulted in zero reported swimming-related illnesses from Webber NSP. Learn more about Webber NSP testing procedures under the “Water Quality” tab at www.minneapolisparks.org/webberpool.
