The public is invited to share feedback online or at two upcoming meetings in June.
In June, the process continues for shaping the future of every neighborhood park in North Minneapolis!
We're excited to announce that the design team has incorporated a range of community feedback to create "preferred concepts" for each park. This is the latest step in developing the long-term park plan for the area, known as the North Service Area Master Plan (NSAMP).
Click on the links below (or go to the NSAMP project web page) to review the preferred design concepts for 30 neighborhood parks:
There are two ways to share your feedback on the design concepts:
1) Online survey: Once you have reviewed the concepts, you can go online to comment on them.
2) Community meetings: Join the discussion at an upcoming meeting of the community advisory committee (CAC) for this project, scheduled for June 4 and June 14 - see details below.
About the CAC meetings
The public is welcome to attend both meetings; a light dinner will be served at each, and include take-away containers for those observing Ramadan.

About the North Service Area Master Plan
The North Service
Area Master Plan (NSAMP) will create new, long-term plans for all Minneapolis
neighborhood parks north of I-394 and west of the Mississippi River. NSAMP will
consider how parks are operated, maintained, and improved. It will include plans
for all exterior facilities — athletic fields, playgrounds, trails,
etc. — but not buildings or recreation centers. For more information, visit the project web page.
