The 2025 Housing Policy and Production Survey (HPPS) is open for all cities and townships. To maintain eligibility for LCA grant programs, cities must complete this annual survey, which consolidates information on local efforts, projects, programs, and policies that create affordable housing opportunities across the region. The survey is due on Tuesday, July 8th. If you have any questions, please contact Maddy Schwartz.

CAPI broke ground on a new Immigrant Opportunity Center in Brooklyn Center. The new building will include a community garden, food shelf, technology resource center, and meeting spaces (CCX Media). The City of Brooklyn Center received three grants for this project between 2022 and 2024 for pre-development and construction costs.

The Met Council is currently recruiting for a new Program Officer for the Livable Communities program. This position will lead Livable Communities grantmaking activities, support cities and project teams working on development projects, and collaborate with funding partners. People with a commitment to public service and development and/or grantmaking experience are encouraged to apply by July 21.
