Due to weather conditions, the schedule for the weekend Interstate 694 (I-694) closure between 10th Street and Interstate 94 in Oakdale has changed. The new closure schedule is as follows:
- I-694 will be closed in both directions overnight, beginning at 10pm Friday, February 16, to 7am Saturday, February 17. Interstate entrance ramps will begin closing at 9pm.
- I-694 will be closed in both directions overnight, beginning at 10pm Friday, February 23, to 7am Sunday, February 25. Interstate entrance ramps will begin closing at 9pm.
Follow posted detour route on I-35E and I-94 if you are traveling during these times.

- Limited construction activities this winter in Downtown St. Paul.
East St. Paul highlights
Upcoming:
- Starting next week, crews remove existing noise walls along Hudson Road between Etna Street and White Bear Avenue
Ongoing:
- Crews install noise walls along the future bus-only lanes between Johnson Parkway and Etna Street.
- Crews remove noise walls between Etna Street and White Bear Avenue along Hudson Road.
- Bridge construction continues at Johnson Parkway as crews construct bridge abutments. Pile driving activities will resume next week. Expect additional noise and vibrations during this activity.
- Work continues on the retaining wall near Old Hudson Road and Luella Street. Hudson Road will remain closed through early March.
- Crews continue pile-driving activities and construct bridge abutment and piers near the intersection of McKnight Road and Hudson Road for a pedestrian and bus-only bridge.
Traffic Impacts:
- Maple Street pedestrian bridge remains closed.
- Hudson Road east of Frank Street to Griffith Street remains closed this winter. Access to properties maintained from the west to Frank Street.
- Old Hudson Road east of Luella Street is closed.
- Concrete lanes on Hudson Road are future bus-only lanes for the Gold Line route. They are closed to regular vehicle traffic.

- Crews continue demolition of the 4th Street bridge. Expect additional noise and lighting during these activities.
- Crews continue pile-driving activities near the intersection of McKnight Road and Hudson Road for a pedestrian and bus-only bridge.
- Construction activities continue on Century Avenue/Highway 120 as crews construct foundations for the pedestrian and bus-only bridge over Century Avenue.
- Private utility relocation work continues along 4th Street, Hadley Avenue, and Hudson Boulevard in Maplewood, Landfall, and Oakdale.
- Retaining wall construction on Helmo Ave near 3rd Street.

Traffic impacts:
- 4th Street Bridge is closed between Hale Avenue and Hayward Avenue. The bridge will be closed for the 2024 construction season as crews demolish and reconstruct the bridge. Follow the posted detour route.
- Outside and median shoulder closures and overnight lane closures along I-694 north of the I-94/I-694 interchange.
- Lane shifts and lane closures near McKnight Road and Hudson Road will continue this winter.
- Century Avenue/Highway 120 is reduced to a single lane in each direction between Innovation Blvd and Brookview Drive, on either side of the I-94 overpass.
- Lane shifts on Helmo Avenue near 3rd Street should be anticipated for the construction of a retaining wall.

Woodbury highlights
Ongoing:
- Crews install signals along Bielenberg Drive between Hudson Road and Tamarack Road.
- Crews construct next week crews begin construction of station foundations along Guider Drive west of Bielenberg Drive.
- Construction continues for the new Woodlane Park & Ride near the intersection of Woodlane Drive and Guider Drive. Crews continue to pour concrete for the future park & ride structure.
Traffic Impacts:
- Ongoing lane closures on Bielenberg Drive between Hudson Road Guider Drive as crews finish signal installations.
- Northbound and southbound traffic on Bielenberg Drive between Hudson Road and Guider Drive is returned to a regular configuration running on either side of the center median. Both directions for traffic will be reduced to one lane in limited locations during installation of traffic signals.
- Guider Drive between Bielenberg Drive and Queens Drive is partially reopened temporarily for the winter.
- Expect daytime intermittent road closures over the next two weeks on Guider Drive between Woodlane and Bielenberg Drive as crews construct the new station foundations. Local access is maintained via Valley Creek Road and Woodlane Drive.
