Ongoing:
- Crews continue building bridge foundations and piers near the Etna Station site.
- Pile driving continues near the Etna Station for the east bridge abutment and retaining wall. Pile driving activities are expected over the next few weeks.
- Crews concluded excavation of the stormwater pond near the intersection of Griffith Street and Wakefield Avenue. Work will continue as crews install a clay liner and maintain the area for staging throughout construction.
Traffic Impacts:
- Continued shoulder closure and temporary ramp shift at I-94 and Etna Street (as shown on map above).
Upcoming:
- Expect crews to install a clay liner next week at the stormwater pond area near the intersection of Griffith Street and Wakefield Avenue.

Oakdale/Landfall/Woodbury highlights
Ongoing:
- Construction continues for the future BRT roadway, bridge abutments, and private utility work near the I-94/I-494/I-694 interchange area.
- Crews continue work in the I-94 center median between the I-494/I-694 interchange and Radio Drive, pouring concrete for bridge foundations and constructing bridge abutments at the north and south sides of I-94. Crews pour concrete for the south bridge abutment over the next few weeks.
- Private utility relocation work continues along Bielenberg Drive north of Tamarack Road and along 4th Street in Oakdale. Expect lane closures in this area.
- Building demolition is underway near the intersection of Hudson Boulevard N and Helmo Avenue N in Oakdale (see map above). Expect demolition to continue for the next few weeks.

Traffic Impacts:
- Expect median shoulder closures on eastbound and westbound I-94 between the I-494/I-694 interchange and Radio Drive throughout winter 2023. Intermittent eastbound left lane closures will occur in the coming weeks during off-peak hours.
- The Hudson Boulevard N and Helmo Avenue N intersection in Woodbury is expected to be closed starting Monday, Feb. 20 (see map above).
