The total compensation statement helps show the full picture of your personal compensation as a Met Council employee. The statement provides a reminder of the many benefits and the additional dollars the Met Council invests in you beyond what you see in your paycheck.
This information is only available to you through your confidential Employee Self Service (ESS) account. Prior year statements will remain permanently available for easy comparison year over year.
To find your online compensation statement, sign in to ESS and navigate Main Menu > Payroll and Compensation > My Total Compensation.
For a guide to what your statement shows, go to the ESS sign-in page. Under “Helpful Links,” click on “Employee Self Service Instructions.” In the table of contents, scroll down to the “Payroll and Compensation” section where you’ll see “My Total Compensation.”
If you have questions about the compensation statement, call the Benefits One line at 651-602-1601 or email Benefits@metc.state.mn.us.

Know where to find support and resources if you or a loved one need help. Give yourself grace today and every day. Take time to recognize the people in your life – your coworkers, loved ones, or others – and to recognize yourself. A little recognition can go a long way.
Make a special effort to connect with people in the community or workplace who may be vulnerable and do not have a lot of support. Talking about feelings can be uncomfortable, but just acknowledging that you or someone you know is struggling truly does help.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or need someone to talk to, please reach out and connect with one of these resources:

Getting kids to the dentist is tough, even in the best of times. And unfortunately the pandemic is only adding to the challenge. In a C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital National Poll on Children’s Health survey, 40% of parents avoided pediatric visits completely during the pandemic.
Delays in care and poor dental hygiene habits may lead to cavities. And with more kids learning online, many are snacking on unhealthy foods throughout the day. Too much sugar feeds harmful bacteria that cause tooth decay. Untreated cavities could mean more dental services and costs for those who don’t see a dentist.
Little PartnersSM dental benefit
HealthPartners offers the Little Partners dental benefit to help kids get the dental care they need while relieving parents of financial stress.
The benefit provides 100% in-network coverage for kids 12 years of age and younger. Parents don’t have to pay a deductible or coinsurance. There’s also no annual maximum on care. This benefit gives parents peace of mind, knowing their child can get needed dental care at no cost.
