Performance discussions should be wrapping up, and the employee’s acknowledgment of the review is due in Perform by Saturday, Dec. 11.
Perform instructions:
- Managers mark the discussion task complete in Perform.
- Employee receives an email with a direct link.
- Employee acknowledges and electronically signs the review.
If managers know a performance evaluation will be delayed (for example, due to a leave of absence or extended probation), please email Todd Rowley at Todd.Rowley@metc.state.mn.us with details.
The Met Council's Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey opens tomorrow, Dec. 10, and all employees are invited to participate. Please take 5-10 minutes to complete this important survey by Dec. 31.
A link to the survey will be posted on the MetNet home page tomorrow and shared in our internal newsletters. All responses are anonymous.
This effort will help Met Council leadership understand what employees are experiencing in the workplace and identify tangible and deliberate organization changes that will:
- Improve our work culture
- Empower managers to support employees better
- Address issues of equity and respect
- Expand career development opportunities for staff
Human Resources is also planning focus group conversations following the survey to learn more from employees. Results will be shared back with staff early next year, along with specific steps that will be taken in response to the survey and focus group findings.
Managers, please encourage your teams to complete the survey.
Questions about the Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey can be directed to Paula Crane in Human Resources at Paula.Crane@metc.state.mn.us.
Do not submit complaints to the survey that require immediate action. Please report those issues through EthicsPoint or discuss with your manager.
Employees with limited or no access to work-based email accounts will have the option of completing the survey on their mobile device via a QR code posted onsite or completing a paper survey, copies of which will be distributed to certain sites. (If you need additional paper surveys, email Paula.Crane@metc.state.mn.us. Please do not make copies.)
Strong writing skills allow you to present your ideas, goals, and requests in a powerful and convincing way.
