- Manager's manager approves review – due Nov. 20
- Manager and employee meet to review final rating – due Dec. 6

Trade Time For Fitness is a health and wellness program that allows you to trade in your annual leave hours to receive up to $2,000 (gross) per payroll year in reimbursements for eligible health and wellness-related expenses, and now includes additional eligible home office items.
This temporary exception to include home office items will be in effect until official notice is given – likely through the COVID-19 pandemic, while some employees must work from home.
Eligible purchases are limited to home office items outlined here:
- Office desks
- Sit/stand desks
- Office chairs
- Task/desk lighting
- Keyboards
- Mice
- Monitors
- Headsets/headphones
- Web cameras
- Cables
- Laptop power supplies
- Computer speakers
Other computer equipment, docking stations, mousepads, and similar Council-provided items are not eligible for reimbursement. These items are brought home from work offices and requested through the ITR process with Information Services. As a reminder, Information Services does not provide technical support for personally owned equipment, regardless of if it's purchased through Trade Time For Fitness or connected to Met Council computers.
To learn more about the program, review FAQs, and access the online claim form, visit the Trade Time For Fitness MetNet page.
Note: All 2021 claims must be received by Dec. 1 to be processed in time to be paid out in 2021. Purchases made in 2021 cannot be processed in 2022; therefore any purchases between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31 cannot be reimbursed due to IRS rules.
A remote team manager's job is to nurture, guide, and support, which is a challenge in the hybrid environment. LOD is offering a virtual, instructor-led class designed to improve supervisors' skills in leading hybrid staff and conducting meetings in a remote environment. A similar training for employees will be offered on Dec. 2.

Open Enrollment began Monday and runs through Nov. 19. During Open Enrollment, you can choose to keep your current medical or vision plan or choose another. You may also enroll or disenroll yourself or family members in the medical, dental, life, and vision plans. We encourage you to review all of your benefits during Open Enrollment.
If you do nothing, the health care selections (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance) you made for 2021 will roll forward unchanged to 2022. But if you want a health, daycare, or parking FSA for 2022, you must enroll during this year’s Open Enrollment period.
Log on to complete your enrollment now.
