Do you have enough life insurance? How much is enough?
These are tough questions the Benefits unit will be presenting, in partnership with Minnesota Life/Securian, to provide expert information on life insurance in general, what the Met Council offers, and how to determine what you need.
This will also kick off a special enrollment period the Met Council is offering, which allows employees to increase the amount of supplemental life insurance they have elected. This special enrollment period will allow employees to increase their supplemental life insurance up to $40,000 without presenting evidence of insurability. If you elect to increase more than $40,000, it will require providing formal evidence of insurability.
