Do you have enough life insurance? How much is enough?
These are tough questions the Benefits unit will be presenting, in partnership with MN Life/Securian, to provide expert information on life insurance in general, what the Met Council offers, and how to determine what you need.
This will also be a kickoff to a special enrollment period the Met Council is offering, allowing employees to increase the amount of supplemental life insurance they elected. This special enrollment period will allow employees to increase their supplemental life insurance up to $40,000 with no Evidence of Insurability. If you elect to increase more than $40,000, it will require an Evidence of Insurability.
Mark your calendars to learn more about this important benefit. The session will be held July 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. An Outlook calendar invite to the Teams session will be sent in early July. If you can't attend, the presentation will be recorded and posted on the HR Benefits page on MetNet.
