 At MSP International Airport, you can start and end your travel experience with a seamless and contact-free way to pay for parking.
MSP offers Prebooked Parking, allowing you to select a parking location online prior to your flight. As you arrive at the airport and enter your parking ramp, you’ll use a QR code on your phone -- or that you printed out -- to gain access. There are no buttons and no need to insert a credit card.
After your return flight to MSP, you’ll use your QR code again to scan out of the ramp. It’s convenient, safe and available online now at this website.
Starting on June 1, MSP Airport's Terminal 1 will get a new Essential Air Service airline – Denver Air Connection – that will fly between MSP and Thief River Falls, Minn., 12 times a week.
The U.S. Department of Transportation awarded the two-year contract to Denver Air earlier this year.
Denver Air succeeds Boutique Air, which has been flying to the city in northwestern Minnesota from MSP since 2016. In August, Boutique will begin providing service between MSP and Ironwood, Mich.
Denver Air, a subsidiary of Key Lime Air, operates out of Denver International Airport and serves smaller destinations in Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming. For flights to Thief River Falls, it plans to use either a 50-seat Embraer EMB-145 or a 30-seat Dornier 328 Jet (pictured).
Denver Air also has an interline agreement with United Airlines, which will allow passengers from Thief River Falls to check their bags all the way to their final destinations when transferring through MSP onto a United flight.

Every week the arts-focused arm of Airport Foundation MSP will share a new coloring page based on artwork in the permanent collection.
Because April showers bring May flowers, Arts@MSP kicked off the new activity with "Minnesota Prairie" by Sheryl Tuorila Mosaics. You can download the image, and others, at this website and color them digitally, or print them and color the old-fashioned way.
You can also send a photo of your masterpiece through Facebook Messenger, and Arts@MSP will share its favorite submissions on its Facebook page.

Given the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the aviation industry, the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) has decided to pause work on the Long-Term Plan for Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP) Airport.
The pause only affects the development of alternative design concepts, and not the already completed activity forecasts and ongoing work on the airfield capacity study and facility needs. Work on the plan is estimated to resume in mid-2021, with an ultimate completion in early 2022.
The pause allows the MAC and its airport partners to focus on recovery activities and provides time to understand the lasting impacts the virus will have on airport operations.
