Foster Bill of Rights Sessions
The Office of the Foster Youth Ombudsperson is hosting sessions to share about our Foster Bill of Rights project.
A few days ago, we shared an opportunity for those holding professional roles to learn more:
- Monday, December 9, 11am to noon (virtual): Register Here.
- Thursday, December 19, 3:30 to 4:30pm (location TBD, Twin Cities) Sign Up Here.
The following sessions are for those with lived experience in foster care in Minnesota. Attendees are required to be over the age of 18. Fosters will have an opportunity, both in the session and asynchronously, to give broad feedback. Those who participated in the Foster Bill of Rights Focus Groups are highly encouraged to attend. Participation for this opportunity is unpaid. (Please note, if you have lived experience in foster care and ALSO hold a professional role, please try to attend a session listed above on 9/9 or 9/19.)
