Updated Detour Map on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 9 project to start Phase 2 August 3rd
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Reconstruction of CSAH 9 (Collegeview Rd SE) between 19 Ave SE and County State Aid Highway 22 (East Circle Drive) will continue into Phase 2 beginning August 3, 2020.
Mathiowetz Construction is the prime contractor for the $5 million project, which includes grading, concrete surfacing, and roundabout. Construction is anticipated to be complete by October 31, 2020.
- CSAH 9 (Collegeview Road) will be opening to traffic from CSAH 22 (East Circle Drive) to the east entrance of the RCTC Heintz Center.
- CSAH 9 (Collegeview Road) will be closed from 19 Ave SE through the Campus Drive SE - RCTC Heintz Center Main Entrance.
Phase 2 includes an official detour being placed as shown below in the Detour Map.
- As a separate project in coordination with phase 2 of the CSAH 9 project, CR 155 (Silver Creek Road) will be reconstructed north of Campus Drive with a tentative start date of mid-to-late August. A press release specific to the Silver Creek Rd project will be distributed in the coming weeks.
Roadway users should expect delays during construction.

Motorists are reminded to always drive with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
