Roadway Closure on County Road (CR) 102

Starting July 9, 2020, road construction is scheduled to begin on CR 129 and will be closed to all traffic near Cummingsville from 300’ west of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 7 to 3000’ west of CSAH 7 along the Root River. Griffin Construction will be stabilizing the banks of the river next to the roadway to repair erosion caused by the 2019 flood events.

Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 24, 2020, weather permitting.

There will be no detour posted.  Motorists should expect delays and are to seek alternative routes.

Reminder

Motorists are reminded to always drive with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones. Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through these work zones.
