Olmsted County Road Construction Projects

County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 35- Roadway work to begin May 5, 2020

Roadway Work on CSAH 35 between CSAH 8 (44th Ave SW) to US 63 is scheduled to begin May 5, 2020. Paving will be complete one lane at a time, with traffic being maintained on the other lane through the use of flagging operations.

Rochester Sand & Gravel is the prime contractor for the $950,000 project. Construction is anticipated to be complete by June 2020.

Centerline Culvert Work on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 3, CSAH 10, CSAH 15 and CSAH 16

Culvert work is scheduled to begin May 11, 2020 along CSAH 3, CSAH 10, CSAH 15 and CSAH 16. Work will consist of installing cured inplace pipe liners in some separated and delaminated concrete culverts along these roadways. Shoulder and possible lane closures will be necessary to complete this work.

Subsurface, Inc. is the prime contractor for the $120,000 project. Construction is anticipated to be completed by May 25, 2020.   

Culvert Replacement on CSAH 34 (Country Club Rd W)

Culvert replacement and ditch work is scheduled to begin along CSAH 34 (Country Club Rd W) on Monday, May 11, 2020.  CSAH 34 (Country Club Rd W) will be closed to through traffic from CSAH 3 to CSAH 44 (60th Ave SW).  A detour along CSAH 25 will be in place.  Residents will be able to access their property.  See the detour map at the following link:  New Road Closure Map

Elcor is the prime contractor for the project.  Construction is anticipated to be completed by May 15, 2020.

Motorists should expect delays and are to seek alternative routes.

Motorists are reminded to always drive with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones. Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through these work zones.
