PUBLIC INFORMATION NOTICE

ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA

Essex Park Entrance Relocation on West River Road to open July 19, 2017.

Road construction on the 55th Street project along Essex Park and to the west continues. With this stage of construction, the existing Essex Park Entrance will be removed and the newly constructed Park Entrance on West River Road will open. Construction signs will be posted by the new entrance which is located approximately 800’ south of the West River Rd/55th Street intersection.  55th Street will remain closed to traffic from the west to West River Road so access to the Park Entrance will come from 41st Street traveling north or 75th Street traveling south.  See attached map.

Project is expected to be complete in the fall of 2017.

Hoffman Construction is the prime contractor on the $33 million project.

Motorists are reminded to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
