OHE's New Podcast: "Life After Now"

We are announcing the first season of our new podcast, Life After Now. The podcast focuses on topics around higher education including the admissions process, student activism, overcoming challenges, and financial aid.

Our host Liz Bolsoni, who is a current student at St. Catherine University, interviews guests like Macalester College President Suzanne Rivera, activist and organizer Nimo Omar, and our Outreach Liaison for the Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program and Harvard University graduate Lara Gerhardson.

New episodes will be coming out every Tuesday starting tomorrow and finishing at the end of fall semester. The podcast is on all major platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts — and we’ll also be keeping people up-to-date on our social media.

Office Now Reopen

After more than 15 months, our office has officially reopened! It's been a difficult time for higher education and many other sectors in Minnesota. We appreciate the patience from our community and look forward to the new normal in higher ed.

There are some new health focused protocols when visiting OHE’s office. The new policies are designed to protect both staff and visitors. When visiting the office, be sure to reach out to the contact you’re meeting to go over some of the changes.

We look forward to having stakeholders back in the office and are focused on providing a safe working environment for everyone.

We’re Hiring Student State Fair Workers

We are looking for students to work with us at our State Fair booth. Students get to build their resume, make some money before college starts, get free State Fair entry — and help us get the word out about higher education in Minnesota.
