Today, April 21, the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) announced changes to the testing requirements for vape cartridges and sampling requirements for beverage products. These changes are due, in part, to engagement with industry participants and are informed by additional research. Learn more by reading the following lab bulletins posted to our Product Testing webpage under License Holder Resources: 

• Lab Bulletin-2026-03: Compliance testing requirements for products that will be sold in a vape cartridge (effective May 1, 2026)
• Lab Bulletin-2026-04: Compliance lab sample size for beverage products (effective immediately)

Please familiarize yourself with and follow the requirements of the Cannabis Technical Authority. The standards outlined in the this important document apply to all cultivators, manufacturers and testing facilities licensed or endorsed by OCM for operation in the cannabis and lower-potency hemp marketplace and to any cannabis or hemp products imported to be sold in retail locations licensed by OCM.
